The future is now. Let's get started. With the improvements in bandwidth over the past few years it's easy to collaborate with musicians all over the world. Phone apps anyone?
What's new in Music Collaboration
There has never been a time when music collaboration has been so easy. In the privacy of your own home. You don't have to lug your gear anywhere. I wish we always had this.

I will Rock
Being a Rocker is more than just standing on stage and plugging in an air microphone. You've got to have 12 bar in your soul. If the tasteless mobs leave me behind, My Rockers Soul and I will be just fine without them, thank you very much. So long as I am sad very time I miss a Bob Seger Concert and so long as my bumper sticker says "I'm not gonna be old until the "Mik" gets satisfied." I am whole. So long as distortion is my favorite effect and so long as my two favorite guitars are named Gibson and Fender; I will Rock.

broadjam.com
Hi everyone,
I thought it was about time I put in a proper mention of broadjam.com
It's not a music collaboration site, so it doesn't fit the criteria for inclusion on the main list. To do anything useful, it costs and I prefer free, fun sites. They do have applications for registering copyrights so you can sell your songs. Unfortunately, it is fairly pricey. About fifty dollars per song I believe.
The reason I am mentioning it even though it doesn't fit the criteria is because I have been on their mailing list for years and almost everyday they send me offers to buy songs. Many are modest offers of only a few hundred dollars per song. However, lately these offers to buy songs have become much more substantial. Many are in the tens of thousands of dollars. I have never submitted a song myself, but the numbers they throw around are interesting. What's the catch? I don't have a clue. I just thought it was interesting and anyone who is interested in monetizing might want to check it out.
PS. If anyone makes money at this, please let us know. Good Luck.
Jeff

Our disabled list grows, but so does the main list.
It's always a little sad to me when one goes. The good news is the main list grows as well. A big welcome to www.scratchaudio.com and www.collaborationkingdom.com
I have added these to to the disabled list.
koblo.com
jamglue.com
musigy.com
bojam.com
Three others have reassigned to other genres of our world and are unlikely to return.
musicdish.com
killerstartups.com

Copyrighting
Keeper mentioned that the instantaneous copyright available on this new Music Collaboration site may be alright for local use on the site itself, but if you have a serious work you intend to sell a little more formal and laborious copyrighting is probably a good idea.
It's a great thought, I hope they keep working on it.

New Site
Here's a new site that claims 0% latency for up to 500 miles. It's a pay site and you might need some equipment. But imagine! real time jamming. If anyone tries it please send feedback.
